Overview of the Event

ICAR along with NDDB and IDF/INC-IDF along with ISO have come together to jointly organize the ICAR Annual Conference & IDF/ISO Analytical Week 2025 during 29 March to 4 April 2025.

The event will offer an unparalleled opportunity to connect with leading organizations in dairying, animal recording and milk testing. It will provide a dynamic platform for sharing experiences, discussing new ideas and addressing emerging issues with global colleagues during the Event. Participants will also have the chance to explore Indian dairying through technical tours, gaining first-hand insights into the system’s innovations.

In addition to expanding the knowledge, building international contacts, and uncovering new business opportunities, it will ensure that the participants experience finest of the Indian hospitality.

ICAR Annual Conference

ICAR Annual Conference is a global gathering of experts in the field of livestock performance recording, genetic evaluations and livestock improvement programmes.

The IDF/ISO Analytical Week

The IDF/ISO Analytical Week is an annual meeting of the dairy experts that develop the joint programme of IDF/ISO for standards for milk and milk products. It is a key meeting to network, discuss the needs and challenges for the sector, as well as exchange with the testing manufacturers on the latest developments.

International Committee for Animal Recording (ICAR)

An International Non-Governmental Organisation, comprising more than 130 Members from over 55 countries, provides an open yet secure network to share with, learn from and interact with fellow members and related stakeholders in global animal production. By cooperating, sharing and enabling, ICAR strives to stimulate animal production around the globe that is more sustainable and efficient than the sum of the individual contributions.

International Dairy Federation (IDF)

An International Non-Governmental Organisation, IDF has been uniting the global dairy community since its inception in 1903. Committed to scientific rigor and technical expertise, IDF pioneered the path in promoting sustainable and safe dairy practices, shaping policies, standards and regulations world-wide. India is represented in International Dairy Federation (IDF) by the Indian National Committee (INC). The INC IDF has 17 members representing Government, National Institutions, Academia and Industry. The Secretary (AHD), DAHD, Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry & Dairying, Government of India is the President of the INC IDF. National Dairy Development Board (NDDB), as its Secretariat, coordinates the activities of the INC IDF.

International Organization for Standardization (ISO)

ISO brings global experts together to agree on the best way of doing things – for anything from making a product to managing a process. As one of the oldest non-governmental international organizations, ISO has enabled trade and cooperation between people and companies the world over since 1946. The International Standards published by ISO serve to make lives easier, safer and better.

National Dairy Development Board (NDDB)

NDDB, India works towards development of dairy farmers. To this end, NDDB promotes, finances and supports producer-owned and controlled organisations. NDDB's programmes and activities seek to strengthen farmer owned institutions and support national policies that are favourable to the growth of such institutions. NDDB has been reaching out to dairy farmers by implementing income generating innovative activities and offering them sustainable livelihood.

Registration

The delegates can pre-register online or register at the venue.

Local currency

The official currency in India is Rupee, represented by INR (₹). The currency can be exchanged at money exchanges at the airport or in Anand.

Accommodation

Delegates are requested to make their hotel accommodation arrangements.

Payments

Cash, credit cards, debit cards & UPI payments are accepted at most hotels, restaurants and shopping malls. UPI like GooglePay and Paytm are very common at smaller shops for making payments. Please ensure that your card is enabled for international transactions.

Visa

Travel Access

You need to reach Ahmedabad or Vadodara which are the two airports near Anand.
Ahmedabad Airport: 90 km (1 hour and 45 minutes) from the venue. Ola/Uber as well as prepaid taxi services are available at the airport.
Vadodara Airport: 40 km (1 hour) from the venue. Ola/Uber taxi services are available at the airport.
International flights arrive at Delhi, Mumbai and Ahmedabad. From Delhi or Mumbai, numerous flights are available for Ahmedabad and Vadodara.
